- having a near fainting incident
- having neurocardiogenic syncope (fainting)
- having a neurocardiogenic syncope due to having a sudden drop in our blood pressure, and our heart beating faster and stimulating our vagal nerve to increase its impulses, and thus our heart rate slows down dramatically and our blood pressure drops so that our brain no longer receives adequate blood flow and oxygen
- having inadequate blood flow and oxygen to our brain
- having a parasympathetic nerve malfunction
